The Science
of Rest
Beyond standard supplements. We engineered the Sleep Collection using USA-grown hemp-derived cannabinoids, premium tart cherry extract, and calming adaptogens to synchronize your circadian rhythm for peak tomorrow-performance.

Honest About the Science
Our formula is built on ingredients studied in real, placebo-controlled human trials — over 50 of which we reference and link across our Journal. Here is the honest read on each, including where the evidence is strong, early, or still mixed.

These are findings from published, peer-reviewed trials on our core ingredients — not studies of the Risachi product itself, and some were industry-funded. Individual results vary. We link every source, funding and all, in each Journal article.
CBN (Cannabinol)
Evidence: early but promising
- Mildly sedating cannabinoid formed as hemp ages
- Studied for reducing nighttime awakenings
- Non-habit forming — no known tolerance build-up
- Non-psychoactive at our serving size
Where the science stands: a 321-person placebo-controlled trial (Bonn-Miller et al., 2024) found 20mg of CBN — our exact dose — significantly reduced nighttime awakenings. The research base is young but pointed in the right direction. Full sources in our Journal.
Montmorency Tart Cherry
Evidence: strongest of the three
- Naturally contains a small, food-level amount of melatonin — no added melatonin
- Randomized trials link it to longer, more efficient sleep
- Anthocyanins with anti-inflammatory activity
- A food, not a synthetic hormone dose
Where the science stands: a randomized controlled trial (Howatson et al., 2012) found Montmorency tart cherry modestly increased total sleep time and sleep efficiency in healthy adults. Modest and real — that's the honest read.
CBG (Cannabigerol)
Evidence: mostly preclinical
- The 'mother cannabinoid' — precursor to all others
- Studied for calming and relaxation pathways
- Included for the cannabinoid entourage rationale
- Zero psychoactivity
Where the science stands: most CBG research is preclinical — lab and animal work, limited human sleep data. We include it as CBN's supporting partner, not on standalone claims.

Psychoactive
Non-psychoactive cannabinoid derived from aged hemp via controlled oxidation. Early human trials are promising for staying asleep — we cover the evidence honestly in our Journal.

Psychoactive
The 'mother cannabinoid' from which other cannabinoids are derived. Paired with CBN for the entourage rationale — most CBG research is still preclinical, and we say so plainly.
